Recently a group of parents and kids from our local Montessori school, Maine Mountain Children’s House, gathered in our beer garden. The parents sat around the fire pit drinking farmhouse ales, New England IPAs, saisons, milk stouts, and coffee porters, while the kids played hide-and-seek around the tomato plants and sunflowers. Everyone was excited about our wood-fired pizza oven (coming this winter!) I looked at Brian and said, “this is why we built The Maine Beer Shed.”

From raft guiding to crafting beer to raising pigs, our focus has always been healthy outdoor living, sustainable farming, eating and drinking locally. We love our home in Kingfield, Maine, Sugarloaf Ski Mountain’s bedroom community. We want The Beer Shed to be your home in the Carrabassett River Valley.
